Winslow Holman came to us by way of a research grant from the Horizon Scholars program at the University of Massachusetts-Boston while working on his degree in Adult Development. Winslow spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps, serving under three presidents and acquiring a position at Marine Barracks 8th & I Street, Washington, D.C. and the rank of Staff Sergeant. After leaving the Marines Winslow worked for the Department of Corrections in both Massachusetts and Maryland. While in Massachusetts, Winslow used his years of martial arts training, and became the Self Defense instructor for the Middlesex County Sheriff’s Departments Training Academy. After leaving the D.O.C., Winslow returned the school, where he received a degree in Human Services, concentrating on Adult Development and Psychology. He has taken his vast knowledge and developed a constantly evolving health program that incorporates all levels and ages of WAITThouse participants.
